The heat is on...

Living in China has been a great learning experience for us. With winter approaching we waited anxiously for November 15 to come. That was the day the government turned on the heat for everyone. The temperatures were hovering around 30-35 °F and we had to get a couple of heaters to keep warm. But, it wasn’t November 15 yet.

The day finally came. We woke up in a warm room. It was amazing and felt like home again, it was 72 °F. There is one of this coiled heater unit in each room with pipes and knobs on each one. Tried as you might, you could not turn the knobs to adjust the temperatures. The government set it for us. Actually, 72 °F was fine for us, but I didn’t know about anyone else. I hope everyone is happy now.
